Representative Cases

  • Represented a pest control company in a trademark dispute with a rival company. In a bench trial that occurred in the United States District Court in Florida, successfully prosecuted a counterclaim in which Mr. Clark established that the rival company had fraudulently procured the disputed trademarks. Mr. Clark obtained a verdict in the amount of $1.6 million in favor of Clark, Goldberg & Madruga's client. In addition, the Court awarded attorneys' fees to our client.
     
  • Successfully represented domestic manufacturer of wood bedroom furniture in a products liability case against major supplier of a defective wood stain that caused the furniture to turn shades of red. At the start of trial, negotiated $3,000,000.00 settlement for furniture manufacturer.
     
  • Successfully defended cable communications company in a workplace harassment trial. Court directed verdict in favor of Clark, Goldberg & Madruga's client at the conclusion of the presentation of evidence to the jury.
     
  • Successfully defended an insurance firm against a multimillion-dollar liability claim arising out of a trucking accident.
